Zaovine Lake
The construction of the lake Lazići formed a lake on the river Beli rzav. The lake spreads in all directions and forms a star-like shape in lower parts of the village Zaovine. The dam is 130 meters high and the maximum depth of the lake is 80 meters. This lake lies on the altitude of 892 meters and with 150 hm³ of water, it gives a unique visual effect. In the accumulation 14 types of fish were noted, representatives of 6 families: brown trout, rainbow trout, nase, barbel and others.
There are a few important hatcheries, like Zmajevački and Popovića potok, and also in one part of Beli Rzav, downstream from accumulation „Spajići“.
On the lake there is also a big trout fishpond. In hot summer days, it is an ideal place for bathing, fishing, picnic... Little lake Spajići is located in a place called Đurići – under the great lake – first turn before the dam Lazići on the road to Mitrovac.
